Our marketplace watcher is a script in our public automations repo. Several times a day it reads the Framer Marketplace’s newest templates and saves every one it has not seen before. Between July 29 and September 22, 2026 it saw 2,689 new templates.
When templates go live
The marketplace took about 48 new templates a day. Tuesday is the busiest day and Sunday the quietest. Weekdays average 52 a day, weekends 38, about 27% fewer.
If you sell templates, a weekday launch lands among more new competitors, and a weekend launch among fewer. We don’t have view or sales data, so we can’t say which of the two weighs more for a buyer browsing the newest list.
What a template costs
55% of new templates are free. The paid ones cluster tightly. The median is $59, the middle half sits between $39 and $89, and $49 is the most common price. 87% of paid prices end in a 9, and eight price points cover 77% of all paid templates. Only 134 paid templates, 11%, cost $100 or more.
What gets made
The feed doesn’t carry Framer’s own categories, so our script sorts templates by keywords in their titles. A third match nothing, so treat every share in this section as rough. Of the templates we can sort, 36% are portfolios and creative sites and 23% are SaaS and tech sites.
Landing pages are given away most often: 74% of them are free. The split flips when you look at what paid templates cost. Among paid templates, 38% of e-commerce and 36% of SaaS templates cost $99 or more, against 10% for restaurants and 11% for health and fitness. Templates for businesses that sell online carry the highest prices. Our data has list prices only, so we can’t tell whether they also sell.
Who makes them
1,278 creators published the 2,689 templates. Most of them published once: 790 creators, 62%, had exactly one template in eight weeks. At the other end, 26 creators published ten or more each. The busiest ones follow two opposite strategies. Some publish only paid templates, others almost only free ones.
How we counted
We run a script that watches the Framer Marketplace several times a day and saves every new template to a database, with its publish date, list price and creator. Every number in this article comes from that database. One template is listed at $2,000, which is why we quote the median price and not the mean.
